Learning to fall
The thing about fear, is that it can make you forget about all those times you’ve won it over. How many times have you come out of the other side of an experience, whether it’s falling over or going through a break-up, and realised, you made it?
And then the tears fell
Tears fall. And as I settle down into savasana, I don’t stop them. I let them silently roll down my cheeks, salty and burning. I let my body drop into the mat. I let my breath fall heavy. I give up the struggle. It’s almost two months since the day my partner burned out.
